Piccolo
Deliciously smooth, inviting peppery spice & floral notes, a touch of honey sweetness and a refreshing spritzy finish. Broadly modelled after a Belgian Tripel with about half the alcohol. It’s a piccolo (small) version that’s not short on flavor.
Belgian beers may seem exotic or daunting to the uninitiated. They are generally boldly aromatic (which we love) but come from a much older tradition which is largely immune to the current hoppy trends. But even without the hops, aromas are often wonderfully complex with notes of fruit and spices mainly derived from the unique yeast strains isolated, propagated and prized by generations of monks.
