Mango Mantello

A variation on our understated Mantello with its soft toasty malt & noble hop aromas (lemon, herbs) and honey sweetness. We added a gentle dose of mango to see how it interacts with a gently flavored beer. The result is subtle, fruity and oh-so-drinkable mango ale!

The Thrall Family has been farming in Connecticut since the 1640’s! They are best known for growing Shade Tobacco for use as premium cigar wrappers (Mantello means “wrapper” in Italian). Now the Thrall Family grows & malts their own barley, wheat, spelt and rye, a few miles down the road in Windsor, Connecticut!
